'The Day After Tomorrow' is PPUK's diversity training workshop.

Through discussion and simulation of an 'end of the world' situation, participants are encouraged to explore their views and stereotypes, how their views developed, where they got their picture of stereo types and why?

The group are asked to discuss people from various backgrounds and through the facilitated discussion raise awareness around issues of race, culture, sexuality, religious beliefs, class, age and other areas of diversity.

This powerful workshop is facilitated in such a way that people are open to explore their overt and covert beliefs and expressions and raise their awareness and also have questions answered that they may not have been able to ask before through fear of offending.

The workshop also includes the practical side of reviewing and working with the organisations Diversity Policy document which has the participants go on a fact finding exploration covering key areas that are identified to address.

PPUK has delivered this training for various organisations including the National Institute for Social Work and the Camelot Foundation.
