REGISTERED CHARITIES

Each year, we donate a percentage of our annual income to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

The CF Trust is our life-long registered charity. We chose to set up donations on 14th May 2005, the first birthday of Caitlin Blyth, Stephen’s niece who was born with CF.

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the UK’s only national charity working to fund medical research into a cure and to ensure appropriate clinical care and support for people with Cystic Fibrosis.  The CF Trust also provides advice, information and where appropriate, financial assistance to anyone affected by Cystic Fibrosis.

Five Facts

1. Cystic Fibrosis is the UK’s most common life-threatening inherited disease.

2. Each week five babies are born with CF. Sadly three young lives are lost due to CF every week.

3. Cystic Fibrosis is caused by a defective gene and attacks the lungs and digestive system.

4. There is currently no cure for CF and average life expectancy is just 31 years.

5. One person in 25 is a carrier of the faulty CF gene – more than 2.3 million people in the UK.

Wristbands

Help us create awareness of Cystic Fibrosis by wearing a CF wristband. All proceeds of the sale of these purple bands go to the CF Trust. Click here to purchase your band, and help us see off CF today!
