Personal training for your mind

Have you ever woken up dreading your daily routine? Feel like you're stuck in a rut and can't escape? Know you need to change your life but don't have the faintest idea of how to go about it? Life coaching is like personal training for your mind. If your goal is to lose weight and get fit for example, you're much less likely to think twice about hiring a personal trainer to help you achieve your physical health and fitness goals. So why don't you employ the same mind-set to achieve your mental health and fitness goals? Perhaps this is because you know little about life coaching? Or maybe you think life coaching isn't for you? Or perhaps you've never thought about hiring a Life Coach before? What follows are answers to your most frequently asked questions...

1. How does life coaching work?

At PPUK, we offer you the choice of one-on-one (in-person) sessions or telephone sessions. Each session lasts 30-60 minutes, usually once a week, three or four times a month. You will have questions asked of you which are designed to make you think differently about the aspects of your life you want to change. Each week, you will be given 'homework' in the form of questions to answer and tasks to complete.

2. Is life coaching for me?

Coaching is not suitable for everyone. You have to be prepared to challenge yourself. And, most importantly, you have to want to change your life. You should realise that in order to succeed in achieving your goals, you will be required to take action in most, if not all, areas of your life. This could include getting rid of the bad energy you currently experience in your life such as caffeine and sugars, to re-evaluating your relationships with friends whom, initially, you may not realise are draining you of your very essence. If you think life coaching is a walk in the park, think again. It's not a matter of chatting for an hour once a week and expecting us to give you all the answers. It invloves commitment and dedication on your part. If you're not willing to work at changing your life, coaching is probably not for you. On the other hand, if you are willing to put in the time and effort, the rewards and personal power you will experience are phenomenal!

3. What aspects of my life can you help me with?

We can help you in most areas of your life, from relationships and business to health and wealth. We are trained to help you discover for yourself what is really stopping you from moving forward in your life. You will be encouraged to take responsibility and action in all aspects of your life. In doing so, you will empower yourself and have the willingness and confidence to change your life.

4. Does life coaching work?

Our clients and other individuals who have been coached have said that having a Life Coach helps - almost forces - you to become extremely focused on achieving your goals therefore you produce results faster. Although the life coaching 'trend' began in the states, its popularity is growing faster than anticipated in the UK. The majority of our work is from referrals. This is proof enough that our approach to life coaching works.
